For PUIG, PIONEERS has brought Jean Paul Gaultier’s summer world to Frankfurt Airport, transforming the travel retail area into a bold, playful experience that is entirely in keeping with the brand’s distinctive visual language.

It's visible before even reaching it. A deep blue canopy spans across the space, whilst a bright orange floor beneath establishes the scene. In between, oversized bottles, illuminated silhouettes and sculptural displays create a world somewhere between an airport arrivals hall and a surreal retro summer postcard.

At the centre, a glowing Jean Paul Gaultier sign welcomes passengers to Frankfurt. The familiar airport signage is reinterpreted through the brand’s own visual language: neon, striking lettering and playful details make the signposts part of the experience.

The result is colourful, theatrical and impossible to miss. In a terminal that is designed for moving from one place to another, Jean Paul Gaultier gives travellers a reason to pause for a moment.

From production planning through to manufacturing and the final installation at Frankfurt Airport, PIONEERS has brought PUIG’s summer concept to life through bespoke elements, illuminated details and precise on-site execution.
